Hey,
My name is Josiah, and I’m a Wedding Photographer and Filmmaker based out of Wellington, New Zealand. I love human beings. I especially love human beings in love. And there’s nothing quite like a wedding day surrounded by… well, human beings in love!
From the early morning coffees and beautiful venue to the first look and fresh tears on cheeks, I’m there for it all. I want to capture all of your carefully planned moments (and the fun surprises along the way) so that you can remember every detail for years to come. But more than the moments, I’m interested in capturing your story.

I can absolutely offer this as an option for you! The way I make this work is by roping in a trusted associate shooter to either photograph or video the wedding with me, then I edit both with my own style and flair.

I sure do, all over New Zealand in fact. I'm based in Wellington, but have worked from Christchurch to Whanganui to Auckland and regularly travel to these places. Get in touch for other locations (I'm always open to going further abroad as well).

This totally depends on the package you book, but typically I deliver 100-150 photos per hour that I'm shooting.

I use a music licensing site called Musicbedfor all of the music in my videos. They have an amazing range of music from real musicians (Stephen Day is one of my favourites on there). I send you through a playlist of songs to choose from, or you're welcome to browse through and find your own song.

This depends on your timeline, which I am happy to work out with you guys so we can be as efficient as possible. I can also make more custom packages if you need something a little more specific for your day.

I'm a Canon shooter through and through, currently rocking an R5 and a couple of older bodies. For lenses, I spend most of my day shooting a 35mm 1.4 (If I could marry a lens this would be it) but also have a couple of other primes for a little more reach.

Of course that's okay, it's my job to make sure you guys are comfortable and relaxed so we can make beautiful photos together. 90% of the couples you see on my site have said this exact thing to me, and I've never had one wedding where awkwardness is an issue. If you still are worried about this, an engagement shoot is an amazing way to get to know each other and get comfy in front of the camera.
